Isadore Wolfson :: Actor, Improvisor, Writer

Isadore Wolfson has been makin' 'em laugh since he was 2 years old. Well, some of them laughed. Others ran screaming from the room in tears demanding that his parents "figure out what to do with him because he's on his way to becoming a serial killler." People can be so dramatic.

Having failed as a serial killer, Isadore came to New York to write and perform comedy, and he's been doing just that since 2004. After studying sketch and improv at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Training Center, Isadore formed the sketch comedy group, The Polite Society. Branding themselves as "A less civilized approach to sketch comedy," The Polite Society performed all over New York City in places like Comix Comedy Club, The Producer's Club, Broadway Comedy Club, and the Under St. Marks Theater. In 2009, their show "Hot Air Buffoons" was an official selection in the New York International Fringe Festival.

Isadore currently writes and performs with the Improvisation News Team, the performance branch of the highly prestigious INNY awards. Under the direction of Second City alumni Scotty Watson, the IN team creates a brand new sketch and improv show every month and performs weekly at the acclaimed improv bar, Triple Crown Ale House.
